Analyze how you’ve adapted to the demands of this course over the past week, and evaluate one strength and one challenge you anticipate as we progress, justifying your insights with personal examples

This week there have been a couple of challenges, like being restless and tired in class because I am used to sleeping in. I've also had a problem with completing my homework because I have volleyball after school, which makes it hard to do my homework at a good time. One strength that I have is the ability to focus on a specific task in order to get it done quickly, sometimes this is hard for me if the area I am in is crowded or loud, but listening to music helps me. One challenge I anticipate is managing my time because of my volleyball practice and games, and because I work every week. But I can overcome this by planning, using my agenda, and limiting myself to only productive tasks.

Today in class we took a quiz on origin Myths, turned in our group presentations, and then I wrote this blog.

Today I learned how to analyze an origin myth and how to answer questions on them, which is something I've not done before.

As we think about our upcoming Vocabulary Monday, tell me what is your favorite word RIGHT NOW? Why is it your faovorite word and how often do you use it?

Write about a time when you realized you needed to look out for yourself in a silly or harmless situation—maybe dodging a pop quiz, escaping a group chat argument, or remembering at the last second to submit an assignment. How did choosing wisely make your life easier?

The last scene forces readers to reinterpret Emily’s entire life. Write about a moment when new information changed your perception of a person or situation. How did that “plot twist” reshape your understanding, the same way Faulkner’s ending reshapes the story?
