Describe a time you felt completely lost

My first day at Lakeside I felt completely lost. I transfered from a different school this year, so coming here was challenging. Not only did I get lost in vast hallways and stairwells, but I felt lost and misplaced in the sea of students. I only knew a few people who I had gone to elementary school with, so I had to quickly make friends. Getting to school and getting around was quite challenging, as the numbered hallways slightly confused me and I didn't have my schedule or a map with me.

Today in class we all presented out "The Jealous Father" group assignments.

Today I learned how the moral message in "The Jealous Father" can be applied to real life, and how the themes are still important in today's society.

As we think about our upcoming Vocabulary Monday, tell me what is your favorite word RIGHT NOW? Why is it your faovorite word and how often do you use it?

Write about a time when you realized you needed to look out for yourself in a silly or harmless situation—maybe dodging a pop quiz, escaping a group chat argument, or remembering at the last second to submit an assignment. How did choosing wisely make your life easier?

The last scene forces readers to reinterpret Emily’s entire life. Write about a moment when new information changed your perception of a person or situation. How did that “plot twist” reshape your understanding, the same way Faulkner’s ending reshapes the story?
