How do you find time to enjoy your day, even when you have a lot going on? Write about at least three specific things you do to enjoy small moments throughout your day.

To enjoy small moments throughout the day, I like to try to bring myself back to the present, especially when I am really busy. For example, I like to listen to music while I do my work so I can enjoy my time while also being productive. I also like to chat with my friends for a small amount of time, but I still make sure to finish my work and tasks before truly relaxing. Finally, when I am busy outside of school, I like to try and find space for a quick nap, which recharges me and puts me in a better mood when I wake up.

Today in class, I revised my argument paragraph.

I learned how to utilize evidence from a text and use it to build my argument.

As we think about our upcoming Vocabulary Monday, tell me what is your favorite word RIGHT NOW? Why is it your faovorite word and how often do you use it?

Write about a time when you realized you needed to look out for yourself in a silly or harmless situation—maybe dodging a pop quiz, escaping a group chat argument, or remembering at the last second to submit an assignment. How did choosing wisely make your life easier?

The last scene forces readers to reinterpret Emily’s entire life. Write about a moment when new information changed your perception of a person or situation. How did that “plot twist” reshape your understanding, the same way Faulkner’s ending reshapes the story?
