After two weeks of studying rhetorical devices, types of rhetoric, and methods for identifying rhetorical techniques, which rhetorical device do you find most effective or compelling, and why?

I find antithesis the most compelling because it is really cool to see contrasting ideas work together in the same sentence. I've never used it, but many historical speeches have, and now I can recognize when it is used. I also think it's a great way to get the audience to think about a certain subject.

In class, we took a quiz on rhetorical devices.

I learned how to identify different devices in a text and how to use them efficiently.
